The Conquistador Hotel is in a perfect location if its history you want. Staff are excellent and very helpful.

Top Tip:
Hotel is centrally situated in the old town. Historic sights all between 1 & 15 mins. walking at the most. Botanical gardens are a must. Take a day trip by train to Montora(50 min.journey)- its worth a visit - the locals don't speak English - but are friendly and helpful. Buy bus tickets at the bus station before you board the bus (about 3euros). Pay for your return journey on the bus.
