The hotel was very difficult to find even using our satnav as its in the old part and the streets were very narrow and had a lot of one way streets (still worth the effort though).
Breakfast was basic but more than adequate (served in the building next door).
All the spainish staff were very welcoming especially once you've said "Ola"!
Top Tip
Very good location. The food in Cordoba (and Seville) was disappointing. Basic choice and very little fruit & vegetables.
Do not eat or drink around the Mosque area over it was all over priced. Found the best tapas & prices in the more local bars & restaurants you just have to find them!

Staff very helpful. The hotel is difficult to find if driving, and it is easy to get lost in the one way streets. Better directions would be helpful.

Don't miss the Mesquita!

We felt the hotel deserved more than one star.

Visit the synagogue and Sephardi House - lovely. Fantastic fino sherry at nearby Bar Guzman - v. low price. Bodega Campos expensive but excellent food. Amaltea also excellent for vegetarians - Ronda de Isasa 10.

Hotel was very difficult to find and it would help if directions were given for drivers to navigate in Cordoba
Top Tip
Excellent restaurant round the corner - Amaltea - on the Ronda de Isasa (doesn't open till 8.45pm), and super tapas bar opposite - the Plateros.

Pity there is no bar - as there is a lovely courtyard to sit in

It's very central and an excellent location for seeing Cordoba. The only thing I'd advise, if driving, is to phone the hotel for directions - Cordoban street signing leaves something to be desired!

Cordoba is just lovely - I came away feeling it's my favourite Spanish town. The Mesquita doesn't disappoint second time around, and the Alcazar is beautiful. It's also a place just to wander and take in.

Breakfast was efficient, friendly and fun, but could have been better quality.
We were made to feel very welcome.
Top Tip
Give yourself more than one night as Cordoba has lots to see. It is an unpretentious town, with a typical Spanish atmosphere! Restaurant near by, recommended by staff, was simple with quality food in a traditional space.
Mezquita is not to be missed.

The facility for parking was excellent.
We booked into the Hotel but were placed in a block of apartments across the road, clean and comfortable but as their were only two of us, would have prefered the hotel.

The moorish baths looked interesting as was the Arabic restuarant next door

Road closures, both temporary and permanent, meant we spent three hours driving round following signs unsuccessfully, until rescued by a helpful local on his scooter!
Top Tip
Easy walking to Mezquita and Alcazar gardens through old city and to river. Several small restaurants in pedestrianised Pl del Potro good and not too expensive. Pharmacy there too. Further to newer shopping area and banks etc. but still walkable.
