The Gonzalez Hotel is housed in a refurbished 16th-century palace whose former inhabitants included the descendents of the famous Cordoban painter, Julio Romero de Torres. It can accommodate 32 people in 16 double rooms, all fully equipped with satellite television, telephone, piped music and client-controlled heating/air conditioning. The hotel has a typical Spanish-Moorish interior courtyard and is in the heart of the old Jewish Quarter, only 40 metres from the Mosque-Cathedral.
