The Ayre Cordoba Hotel is a deluxe property, housed in a sprawling, low-rise building with a mainly white façade that used to be a private school. It is surrounded by well-maintained gardens. The interior exhibits a sense of stylish modernity with a few traditional-style Moorish touches. On the ground floor, it comprises a cool, airy lobby, a comfortable lounge with a small calming fountain and warm-toned, contemporary-style bar. The 153 medium sized guestrooms are tastefully decorated in neutral colour schemes, complemented by light wood furniture. All are clean and well maintained, as are the tiled en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers an extensive buffet breakfast service and an à la carte menu of regional specialities served in another restaurant, “Los Lanchares,” just to the right of the main entrance.
